I have always been a highly sensitive and empathic person. I read and take on the emotions of others. Being empathic can be a gift, but it can also be extremely tricky. You have to really learn how to take care of yourself. More than a decade ago, I started to accumulate knowledge and practices that I use for myself, and now teach to my clients.

Have YOU ever wondered if you’re an empath?

Throughout your life, have people told you that you’re ‘”too sensitive”?
Oh my god. If I had a dollar for every time that someone told me that, I could retire to The Bahamas right now!

Do you feel anxious in social settings, and then exhausted afterwards?
Because empaths absorb other people’s emotions like sponges and experience others’ emotions as their own, social gatherings can be overstimulating and draining.

Do you tend to attract toxic people and set poor boundaries?
Ouch. This one stings a bit (okay, a lot!). But my goodness… it’s so true. Narcissists (the exact opposite of an empath), toxic people and energy vampires are naturally drawn to empaths because they see someone who will fulfill their every need in a selfless way.
