Rise in Beauty, what do I mean by that? I’ve always loved the song “The Beauty Way” by Eliza Gilkyson. I have listened to and loved that song for years but only recently became aware that “The Beauty Way” is the name of a Navajo prayer read at the end of a blessing ceremony.
Walking in Beauty, or The Beauty Way, signifies a harmonious, balanced life. Peaceful with yourself, with the world, and surrounded by Beauty.
Here’s a little bit from the blessing prayer.
“In Beauty, I walk. With Beauty before me, I walk. With Beauty behind me, I walk. With Beauty above me, I walk. With Beauty around me, I walk. It has become Beauty again.”
Beauty is not a material thing. It’s a deep quality we all long and yearn for. It is feeling safe and secure. It is pleasure, love, and authenticity. All the things that light you up and make your soul feel like it’s on fire.
Working with women to find and create beauty in their life is what sets my soul on fire and what I’m here to do.
Here is a little more from The Beauty Way:
“Today, I will walk out. Today, everything negative will leave me. Today, I will be as I was before. I will have a cool breeze over my body. I will have a light body. I will be happy forever. Nothing will hinder me. I will walk with Beauty before me. I will walk with Beauty behind me. I will walk with Beauty below me. I will walk with Beauty above me. I will walk with Beauty around me. My words will be beautiful. In Beauty all day long may I walk.”
I hope that this blessing washes over you like a cool breeze. I hope it gives you a picture of why Beauty is so important to me and why it is the cornerstone of my work and business.
I am a messenger of hope and healing, and I believe that hope is necessary for all of us. We have to hang on to hope. When things don’t make sense during dark times, when it feels radical and dangerous, we have hope that something better than what we know now or what we have known in the past is available to us.
What if you spent the rest of January dreaming and creating hope? Set aside time every day, if you can, to journal and ask yourself:
- What do I want in 2021?
- What do I desire?
- How do I want to feel?
Then, reverse engineer it by asking these questions every day:
- What will make me feel that way?
- How can I care for myself?
- How can I incorporate Beauty in my life every day?
Watch your inbox over the next few days. More hope and beauty is coming your way! I will soon be opening the doors to my free, mini course for you called Rise in Beauty. In a six email series, I will be walking you through the steps that I took for myself and that I now do with clients. If you are finally ready to commit to yourself and to becoming the love of your life, then the Rise In Beauty mini course is for you so stay tuned!
I can’t wait to share it with you.
xoxo, Jenni
