I know, I know – you are sick to death of hearing about how meditation will change your life and save the world. I get it. I also get that you may not be able to tolerate sitting down because you are staying in constant motion to avoid feeling your feelings is a super common trauma response. Congrats – you are a normal girl! Nevertheless, increasing your ability to tolerate sitting still will help you heal and alleviate some of your trauma symptoms. I have found that guided meditations are easier for partners to tolerate so I have created a Meditation Garden full of my personal favorites.
